Application

1: Oil & Gas Exploration & Production (Core Application)

Imidazoline acetate CAS 68140-11-4 serves as primary water-soluble corrosion inhibitor for crude oil gathering pipelines, downhole tubing, natural gas transmission pipes and oil well casing. It forms compact protective adsorption film on carbon steel, cast iron surfaces to block erosion from CO₂, H₂S and formation brine in oilfield produced water, effectively mitigate internal pipeline rust and pitting corrosion during crude oil extraction, gathering and transportation. Widely dosed in onshore & offshore oilfield water injection system.

2: Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemical Plant

Used as anti-corrosion additive for refinery fractionation equipment, condensate pipelines and cooling circulation system. It inhibits acidic medium corrosion generated from sulfur-containing crude oil processing, protects heat exchangers, distillation towers and process pipelines made of carbon steel; compatible with most refinery auxiliary additives without flocculation or precipitation.

3: Industrial Circulating Cooling Water Treatment

Applied in open/closed industrial circulating cooling water system for power plants, chemical factories, steel mills and paper mills. Controls mild steel corrosion caused by chloride ion, dissolved oxygen and acidic wastewater in circulating water, works synergistically with scale inhibitors and biocides for integrated water treatment formula.

4: Boiler & Central Heating Pipeline Anti-Corrosion

Added into boiler feed water and hot water heating piping system to prevent uniform corrosion and localized rust of boiler tube, heating steel pipelines under medium-temperature aqueous environment, suitable for industrial steam boiler and municipal central heating circulation system.

Application 5: Metal Working Auxiliary (Auxiliary Usage)

Used as intermediate raw material for water-based metal rust preventive fluid, cutting fluid additive. Improves anti-rust performance of aqueous machining liquid for carbon steel workpieces during machining, storage and short-term rust protection.
