Zinc ricinoleate, also known as zinc soap, is a white powder made from refined castor oil and zinc sulfate through saponification and salting out. It is an indispensable excellent anti-precipitation agent in paint production, and is also a suspending agent for paint. It has a wetting and dispersing effect in the paint, and also plays a thickening role. It is an ideal additive in the production of paint and coatings. How to use zinc ricinoleate: 0.1% for high-end paint and about 0.6% for low-end paint. The general dosage is 0.6%-1.5%, and the maximum does not exceed 2%. In solvent-based paint, adding 1%-2% of the weight of the pigment can improve the dispersion efficiency of the pigment, prevent the pigment from flocculating and coarsening, and significantly improve the dispersion effect of the paint. Adding 0.6% of the weight of the paint in paint production can prevent the pigment from precipitating and agglomerating during paint storage, and play a dispersing role. When using this product, it can be added during pigment processing, or it can be directly sprinkled into the paint and ground according to proportion.
Application
1. Home life: air purification and deodorization of fabrics (clothes, shoes and socks), kitchens, bathrooms, pets, and cars. 2. Industrial production: daily chemicals, papermaking, leather making, fertilizers, food, casting, etc.
3. Formula system: Adding it to water-based paints, inks, adhesives, and resins can effectively reduce the content and release of VOC molecules including formaldehyde during the use of the product.
4. Garbage stations: It can be used for air purification and deodorization at garbage disposal stations and garbage centralized storage points.
