Application
The product can be condensed with hexamethylene diamine to produce engineering plasticnylon 6-12; the diester formed with octanol, butanol and other alcohols can be used as plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate; the diester synthesized with octanol can also be used as base oil for high-grade lubricating oil for jet engine and gas turbine or low-temperature grease; dodecanoic acid can also be used as base oil for saturated polyester Modifier, precipitant of metal, raw material of perfume and special polyurethane. It is also used as solute in electrolyte of high voltage aluminum electrolytic capacitor.
