Saliphenesin is a broad spectrum preservative with good anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. It can be used as a single component preservative or can be combined with other preservatives to boost the effectiveness

Application

Saliphenesin is used for the preservation of cosmetics, including creams, lotions, masks, gels, sprays, sticks, serums, shampoos, conditioners, etc.

They are also widely used in makeup products such as eye liners & mascaras.

Saliphenesin is also used as a therapeutic, prophylactic and preserving agent in dermatological preparations.
