Application
Carbohydrazide is used as an oxygen scavenger to scavenge remaining oxygen to prevent corrosion in closed water system. Carbohydrazide can be used
when thermal and pressure stability is required such as in boiler feed system. Carbohydrazide is used as an auxiliary in photographic industry to prevent discoloration.
It is used as an intermediate for stabilizers and water treatment chemicals.
