Applied in personal care products. p-Anisic Acid is a mild and skin friendly organic acid with versatile properties.

1) p-Anisic Acid can serve to replace controversially discussed traditional preservatives like parabens due to its high antimicrobial activity.

It finds application in different formulations, especially for the babycare products.

2) p-Anisic Acid acts as a preservative booster thereby reduce the amount of traditional preservatives in the formulation.

3) p-Anisic Acid is a natural identical flavoring agent, therefore, it can serve to mask the unpleasant odor of the formulation.

4) p-Anisic Acid can be used beneficial to adjust the PH-values of the formulation.
